Ok, so it's a different Kate but The Duchess of Cambridge manages to steal some of the attention today. The first foreign tour as a married couple and Kate has let it be known that she dresses herself. With all the public sector cuts and issue with the economy she has demonstrated she is not afraid to be frugal with the public purse. In a show of "we're all in this together" Kate reworks her official engagement Reiss dress with a red maple leaf hat for Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa. She even borrowed a brooch from The Queen, perhaps she is trying to make up for reports this week that her new Father In Law, Prince Charles has upped his spending. Her outfit choices so far have been classic and well thought out in terms of showing the 'best of British' as well as being conscious to the Canadian visit. I think the outfit today was very appropriate for the occasion but it does highlight her dramatic weight loss from her already slight frame.
