Although some people feel that taxpayers money could be better spent during a time of economic austerity, I can't help but feel it provides us all with something lovely to focus on. For those who aren't Royalist or bothered by the Royal Wedding just be grateful for the four day weekend!

Today, I was lucky enough to receive a big box of my favourite Laduree Macaroons! I even shared them with my Beloved. (A sign of true love) I was really impatient and didn't even wait to get tea, instead I gorged myself on them and now feel rather sick! Luckily they are a rare treat so I don't feel in the least bit guilty!

I love the Oscars not just because I love films but for the fashion on the red carpet. Mila Kunis may not have been nominated for an award but she truly was the winner of the night in the style stakes. I can't tell you how much I love this look, the lavender lace is positively ethereal. Mila has been on my beloveds radar for some time and it is pretty obvious why!

Valentines Day is not just about showing someone how much you love them. For those of you who have a cynical view of today perhaps look at it from a different perspective... St Valentine doesn't just represent love and couples, he is also the Patron Saint of bee keepers, epilepsy, fainting, greetings, plague, travellers and young people.
